Prior to the new hangar construction, the Airport had very little individual space to accommodate medium sized aircraft and smaller corporate aircraft. There was also a need for larger hangar space to accommodate those kit builders or general aviation aircraft owners who were looking for a bit of room to spread out. Because of this demand, the Airport constructed seven larger rectangular units that are 50' wide by 45' deep with 16' door heights to accommodate a taller tail height. These hangars are large enough to house 1 larger aircraft or multiple smaller aircraft with enough room left to set up benches or store other various aircraft parts. Because of the larger opening, an electric bi-fold door was installed that has 2 “walk-through” doors for access and is easily operated with the push of a button. The doors also have windows in the top portion to allow natural light to enter which provides a much brighter atmosphere in the hangar. Once closed, the large bi-fold doors have easy manual latches to pull the door tight to keep out the weather. These hangars come with a full heated restroom (toilet, shower, sink), individual hot water tank, large tub sink with hot and cold water, 2 large heaters with timers, and 220V power in 3 different receptacles with 100 amps of individually metered power. There are also 6, 110V power receptacles which can be used for everyday household plug-in items. The 50' rectangle hangars were constructed to meet an “H5” occupancy rating (allows for more advanced repairs and additional maintenance on aircraft) and are sprinkled for additional safety. |

| Cost: 50' Rectangle Hangar units are located in the newer West Ramp area. The monthly rate for these units is $1,062.41 (including taxes). It is the tenant’s responsibility to pay all electricity costs for these hangars. |
