Owned and operated by Snohomish County, Paine Field Airport is home to more than 500 airport-based aircraft, and has the largest quantity of hangar units available for rent in the state of Washington. Paine Field leases 294 general aviation hangars with many different shapes and sizes, along with 55 general storage units. All county owned hangars are fully enclosed and are situated in easily accessible areas throughout the airport. If you’re looking to become a private hangar owner, the airport is home to communities of private hangar owners with potential purchase opportunities available.
Paine Field Airport accepts Visa and MasterCard in addition to checks and can assist you in setting up an auto-pay process.

From aircraft maintenance to aircraft fueling, Paine Field can accommodate your aircraft needs.
Paine Field prides itself in maintaining a full FAR Part 139 certificate and offering many top-notch facilities for our current and future tenants, as well as transient aircraft and pilots. We offer two runways accommodating aircraft up to a 747, as well as maintain a full Category 1 ILS certificated approach to runway 16R. Numerous other published approaches are available, as well as MIRL on runway 16R-34L, VASI or PAPI on each runway, excellent pavement structures and fresh paint on an annual basis. A professional, student-pilot-friendly FAA Control Tower operates from 0700L – 2100L, and a myriad of FBOs offer full service facilities to accommodate your aircraft needs. Numerous pilot shops offer all the supplies and necessities for your aircraft.
