Coronavirus and Paine Field Airport

The first case of 2019 novel coronavirus in the U.S. was confirmed in Snohomish County in January. An outbreak that started in December in Hubei Province, China is ongoing.

Public health officials believe the current risk to the U.S. public is low.

Enhanced screening procedures are in place at multiple U.S. airports. Paine Field is not currently impacted by these enhanced procedures since it has no direct international service. However, passengers should be aware of travel guidance from the CDC, particularly if they will be traveling outside of the U.S. Check wwwnc.cdc.gov/travel/notices for the latest travel advisories. Find more information about coronavirus at www.snohd.org/ncov2019. Paine Field encourages all travelers to exercise normal illness prevention measures, including washing hands and avoiding travel while ill.
